Madaba Designs works a little differently than you might be used to. Everything I make is one-of-a-kind. Original patterns are created for every piece, materials are selected one at a time, carefully, and absolutely no effort is spared in producing what I produce. I punch holes one at a time, use simple hardware that won't malfunction, and only work on projects that inspire me.All of this makes me kind of a bad designer from a business perspective. I could never keep up with the demands of bulk orders or mass production, and refuse to consider attaching my name to products of a lesser quality.
